All the caravan holiday homes are connected to main services with gas and electric metered and most new models are double glazed and centrally heated.
Here are some of the questions we are most frequently asked.
Where do I start ?
You can buy either a new or a secondhand holiday home from us. In all cases all payments are made to us, and you should never pay anyone else directly. We maintain a register of prospective purchasers who are interested in buying on the park for when we have no vacant plots available.

Providing a pitch is vacant we can supply your choice of caravan holiday home. You will receive a written quotation, and the price would include siting, delivery and commissioning. Please check out our ‘caravan holiday homes for sale’ page on this site.
What would it cost to buy an existing secondhand caravan?
Again check out our ‘for sale’ page. The cost will depend on a number of points such as age, condition and position on the park.
What security do I have?
We offer you a formal agreement to be signed by both parties which sets out all of our obligations to each other.
How long may I keep my caravan holiday home on Coly Vale Holiday Park?
Caravan Holiday homes may remain on Coly Vale for ten years for 10’ wides and for 12 years on 12’ wides.
When can I use my caravan holiday home?
The park is open from March 1st To 15th January
What are the annual costs?
2008 ground rent £1908.18 pa
2008 water rates included in site rent
2008 insurance example, structure £30 000, contents £1500, would cost approx £400
2008 gas average £90 pa
2008 electric average bill £70 pa
Can I sub let my caravan holiday home?
Yes, but to close friends and family only.
Do you have any park rules?
Yes, there are a set of park rules for everyone owning a caravan on the park. These are issued with the formal agreement and are periodically updated.
What about maintenance?
You are responsible for the maintenance of your caravan holiday home. Please ask when you require any work done and we may be able to help or alternatively recommend local contractors.
What if I want to sell my caravan holiday home?
All sales of privately owned caravan holiday homes are documented by us, this includes family and friends. You simply have to notify us in writing of your wish to sell, and we reply with a sales report, including the recommended sales price. When we have agreed the sales term, we market the caravan on your behalf to find a buyer. If you already have a buyer you will be required to put the details of the sale in writing to us for us to check. The seller pays a 15% commission to the park.
